Strawberry Shrub Smash

Like the Julep, smashes have come to include all sorts of fruit, and this one showcases sweet, ripe strawberries. Muddle those Strawberries with a good dose of Gin, and a little Sugar Syrup, Lime, Strawberry Shrub and a topping of Soda Water.

Ingredients

2.5 oz. 75ml Gin
2-3 2-3 Strawberries
0.25 oz. 8ml Sugar Syrup
0.5 oz. 15ml Strawberry Shrub
oz. 0ml Lime wedge
top top Soda Water

Display: oz. ml.

Instructions

In a tall glass, combine the sugar and a squeeze of juice from the lime wedge. Muddle with the back of a spoon to dissolve the sugar. Add the sliced strawberries and lightly muddle. Fill the glass with crushed ice and add the Gin and Strawberry Shrub. Top with a splash of club soda
