Noël Coward’s riff on the Horse’s Neck is a classic Prohibition-era cocktail that appears in his 1951 play, Relative Values. More to the point though he touts it as the ultimate hangover cure – the Angostura Bitters and Ginger Ale will settle the stomach, the aspirin will clear your head and the Brandy is there to soothe your soul.
In a Collins glass, combine Brandy and Angostura Bitters and stir. Add ice and top with Ginger Ale
