If you’ve been thinking to yourself that your Manhattan doesn’t have enough mandarin notes, then you’re in luck with Bonaparte’s Manhattan. With Rye, Sweet Vermouth, and Mandarin Liqueur, it is made drier and all the more complex with the addition of Averna.
Stir all ingredients in an ice-filled mixing glass and strain into a coupe glass.
